Sofia was part of the 5th Edition of “Encontros do Cinema Português”, a networking event for Portuguese producers, filmmakers, distributors and other industry professionals, promoted by NOS Audiovisuais and ICA.

The event had some participants pitching the projects they were currently working on, and Sofia and director Tiago Durão got to pitch their upcoming feature film “Erros Meus, Má Fortuna, Amor Ardente”, currently in post-production.

Sofia used the opportunity to speak out about the need to make Portuguese cinema more inclusive and accessible to the millions of people who have hearing difficulties, by providing subtitles.
